In this course, you'll learn how to unlock the new programmability features of HTML5 using the JavaScript programming language. The course has a practical focus on features that you can use in today's browsers, including identifying the user's position using geolocation, performing two-way asynchronous communication using Web Sockets, and utilizing structured data caching in the browser with Web Storage, and more. The course also contains an introduction to client-side graphics generation using the new HTML5 canvas.
